The Retail Manager is responsible for driving the overall strategy, optimization, and performance of Tao Group Hospitality’s retail operations across Nightlife and Daylife venues in Las Vegas. This role oversees daily retail operations while maintaining a strong focus on revenue growth, inventory optimization, guest experience, and team development. The Retail Manager leads by example, ensuring brand standards are upheld in high-energy, high-volume environments and that retail operations consistently support the overall guest experience.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Develop and execute retail strategies that maximize sales, profitability, and brand alignment
  • Optimize inventory management, visual merchandising, and operational processes
  • Deliver exceptional guest experiences through elevated service and product knowledge
  • Lead, train, and motivate retail team members in fast-paced Nightlife and Daylife settings
  • Develop and execute retail sales strategies aligned with Nightlife and Daylife business goals
  • Analyze sales trends, guest behavior, and inventory performance to drive continuous improvement
  • Optimize product assortment, pricing, and merchandising to maximize revenue and minimize shrink
  • Partner with internal teams and external retail partners to ensure timely inventory flow and accuracy
  • Oversee daily retail operations, opening/closing procedures, and overall store readiness
  • Anticipate and accommodate guest needs while delivering elevated, hospitality-driven retail service
  • Actively engage with guests to drive sales and enhance brand connection
  • Address guest questions, concerns, and issues promptly and professionally
  • Ensure the retail space is clean, organized, and visually compelling at all times
  • Ensure proper cash handling, payment card procedures, and end-of-shift financial reconciliations
  • Conduct frequent inventory audits, cycle counts, and damage/loss reporting
  • Maintain secure handling of all merchandise, showcases, safes, and storage areas at all times
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and brand standards
  • Lead, coach, and develop retail team members through training, feedback, and example
  • Foster a positive, professional, and collaborative team environment
  • Conduct and participate in pre-shift meetings, trainings, and departmental communications
  • Receive, ship, and reconcile inventory with retail partners as needed
  • Report all breakage, damage, or operational issues immediately to leadership
  • Maintain general knowledge of Tao Group Hospitality, retail partners, and supporting hotel environments
  • Support cross-functional collaboration with venue operations, security, and hotel partners
  • Assist and/ or complete additional tasks as assigned.

EDUCATION/WORKING KNOWLEDGE:

  • Minimum 3 years of retail management experience, preferably in luxury, nightlife, hospitality, or high-volume environments
  • Strong background in retail strategy, sales optimization, and inventory management
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop teams
  • Proficient in Windows Microsoft Office, POS systems, Oracle knowledge preferred
